Jon has been a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) since 1986 and has 20 years of experience (Including "Big 4" experience) providing consulting, systems implementation, audit, and tax, for small, medium and large companies, nonprofits and governmental organizations. Services Jon provided for clients include External and Internal Audit, Tax Planning & Compliance, Business Succesion Planning, Employee Retention Planning, Risk Management, Forensic Accounting, Business Process Improvement, Profitability Enhancement, Due Diligence and Wealth Management. Jon is also a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and has a masters degree in taxation. At Mercadante Bob specializes in Business Valuations, Business Planning as well as business brokering. Bob is also a member of the Institute of Business Appraisers.

Lou Mercadante
Lou established this firm over 40 years ago, and continues to assist clients on a part-time basis. Lou specializes in tax compliance and planning for individuals, corporations, partnerships and trusts. Lou's experience is often tapped by clients and staff in navigating complex accounting and tax transactions. Lou is an Ex-Marine and enjoys hunting and fishing with several of our clients.

Justin Best, CPA
Justin joined our firm in 2004 upon graduating form Robert Morris University with a bachelor degree in accounting. Justin has extensive experience in the construction industry. In addition to his college coursework, Justin has taken additional classes with an emphasis on tax issues and Quickbooks and other computer software. Justin is a Certified Quickbooks Pro Advisor. Justin performs tax planning, tax return preparation, and audits.

Brian Thomson, CPA
Brian has significant experience working in public accounting and previously worked at a large regional CPA firm. At Mercadante and Company, his areas of focus include auditing and financial reporting. Brian has worked with clients in a variety of industries and has extensive real estate and partnership experience. Brian earned a M.S. in Accounting and MBA from the Graduate School of Professional Accounting - Northeastern University and received his Bachelar degree from the University of Pittsburgh.

Michelle Kopriva
Michelle has 20 years of extensive accounting experience including audit and tax experience in Public Accounting. Michelle is proficient in QuickBooks and has been exposed to a multitude of other computerized accounting software systems. Michelle has established accounting departments for small and medium companies, creating and implementing systems and procedures for all financial and accounting aspects of multi-divisional companies.

Adrienne has been with our firm since 2004, and has over 15 years of public accounting experience. Adrienne provides a wide variety of client services including tax compliance, QuickBooks consulting and financial statement compilation, tax planning and tax return preparation. Adrienne is a Certified Quickbooks Pro Advisor.

Jenna joined our firm in 2007 and provides a wide variety of client services including tax compliance, tax planning, tax preparation, payroll & sales tax audits, accounting system consulting and financial statement compilation. Jenna also assists the Managing Partner in providing retirement plan design and wealth management services. Jenna earned her bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Phoenix.
